Located on the Northwest corner of Wisconsin, Douglas County is rich in natural beauty and a growing community. The city of Superior is the county seat and holds spectacular natural views at the Wisconsin Point, featuring the Superior Entry Lighthouse.

Douglas County was named after Illinois Senator Stephen A. Douglas in 1854.
